Tasting the Telmont Grand Rose Brut is like biting fully into a fruit. The careful selection of grapes from well established Pinot vines, are lightly pressed to release the aromatic potential of the fruit. This then combines with the larger portion of Chardonnay grapes to produce this fruit burst sensation. The colour is raspberry pink, with slight salmon hints. The initial bouquet reveals notes of citrus (grapefruit, lemon) then opens up to red fruits; fresh raspberry and particularly cherry. On the palate, it is all cherry cherry cherry! The opening taste is beautiful, with a remarkable finesse and an extraordinary length in the mouth. The Champagne has a beautifully persistent foam with fine bubbles. A very fresh and fruity wine.
