With a personality that differs from both Champagne and Franciacorta, Friuli Venezia Giulia has a natural ability to produce delicious sparking wines. The Pinot Bianco and Ribolla grapes used in this wine blend well together, and the method of production is Traditional, i.e. with the second fermentation in the bottle. There are no added sugars (hence the Zero Dosage). It has an engaging effervesence and is crisp but with an unmistakable minerality from the terroir. On the nose it is delicate with fruity though dry notes that mingle with the yeast and the individual minerality.
Chill and enjoy as an aperitif, it is very amenable to most food pairings but will be too dry to work well with desserts.
